2 layer Reflexcell Blizzard blanket for hypothermia prevention in the outdoors. This innovative piece of emergency equipment comes vacuum packaged, saving space in packs so you’re not tempted to leave it behind when going light on the hill. Opened up, the blanket is around 2.3 x 1.5m in size, with a taped closure, so casualties can be wrapped and then secured within the 5 tog rated blanket.
Whilst a survival bag is suitable for use with a conscious casualty and the Blizzard jacket is an excellent choice for hypothermia prevention in walking casualties, the Blizzard blanket is versatile enough to be used for any of these, as well as an unresponsive casualty. This makes it the perfect choice when it comes to emergency insulation on the hill.
