
Our 3 day ITC Level 3 award in First Aid at Work is the highest workplace first aid qualification in the UK. You probably need some first aiders with this qualification if you have a high risk workplace or large workforce.
The 3 day first aid at work course covers a wide range of injuries and illnesses. This in-depth, practical course meets the requirements of the Health and Safety Executive for first aid at work in most settings.
The HSE stopped ‘approving’ first aid training providers in 2013. Since then, they’ve produced advice for employers to ensure that trainers are up to date and appropriately qualified. One of the easiest ways of ensuring this is to use a provider of regulated qualifications, which is why we do just that. All of our first aid qualifications are awarded by ITC First, a specialist first aid awarding organisation. The exams regulator for England (OFQUAL) regulates this qualification.

Successful completion of our Emergency First Aid at Work course leads to a regulated qualification certificate, awarded by ITC First. The exams regulator for England (OFQUAL) or Scotland (SQA Accreditation) has oversight of this qualification. By opting for a regulated qualification, you can be assured that your trainer is up to date and qualified to deliver this course.
This course requires participants to undertake some degree of manual handling and physical exertion, including moving simulated candidates on the floor and performing simulated chest compressions on a manikin.
